Why are you collecting women’s stories?
We are inviting testimony from women about their experiences on the beach in Brighton and Hove, and in local seafront venues. This will begin to build an evidence base which we can use to press for quicker and more effective action from the police.
How will you use the stories?
We need voices, stories, and solidarity to press for action. The testimonies we collect will be shared on our website, on social media, and in a report that we will present to the police, the council, and other key bodies. Our aim is to raise awareness, demand accountability, and push for real change. We may also share quotes with the press to amplify women’s voices further.
